Kellogg’s launches LCM’s Golden Joys

Sep 13, 2012

Cereal and snacks manufacturer Kellogg’s has expanded the range of its lunchbox favourite LCMs brand by introducing LCMs Golden Joys – The first snack in the LCMs range to be made with the sun-ripened grains of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes.

The launch of LCMs Golden Joys is the first time that the brand has moved away from the traditional use of Kellogg’s Rice Bubbles adding exciting new variety to the options of lunchbox treats available for mums to choose from.

Made with no artificial colours or flavours, LCMs Golden Joys is a tasty twist on the classic honey joys treat popular as a home-made snack for generations.  The delicious crunch of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, sweet honey flavour and chocolatey base deliver a classic snack.

As the back-to-school period closes in, Kellogg’s believes this new launch will provide retailers with a welcome new offering for busy shoppers looking for ways to keep school lunchboxes interesting.

Kellogg’s will be supporting the launch with TV, outdoor and shopperlite advertising aimed at giving mums inspiration when it comes to choosing a lunchbox treat.

“Honey joys have been a kids’ favourite for generations and are always great fun to make at home,” said Louise Scott-Davidson, brand manager at Kellogg’s. “LCMs Golden Joys is bringing that fun and enjoyment into the lunchbox with our take on an old favourite and we think kids will love the variety of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes giving this new snack some extra crunch.”

LCMs Golden Joys will be available from 01st October 2012 in Coles, Woolworths and all leading retailers RRP $3.99.
